I spent my early childhood in various Parks and Reserves in Kenya due to my Fathers employment as a Warden by the then Game Depatment, now Kenya Wildlife Services. We lived in a Amboseli, Samburu, Wamba amongst many other parks and reserves. I naturally developed a deep connection and understanding of Kenya’s diverse Parks and Reserves.

I studied agriculture in Denmark but on returning home, I still yearned for the bush and so was lucky to secure employment as a safari guide in one of the big safari firms back in 1990. I have since been on countless safaris covering several African countries but mainly in East, Central and Southern Africa. Personal service at it’s best is my Motto.

I decided to start a small Safari firm to cater for so many guests who got bitten by the African bug and have kept coming back over the years. Through Geoffrey”s travels I personally create specific products that would cater for the the individual needs for the individual clients. Apart from the popular traditional routes, Geoffrey’s Travels arranges safaris to the less traveled areas like Western Kenya where one can see the worlds only rare Aquatic Antelope specie – Sitatunga, The mysterious caves found in the enchanting Mt Elgon National Park, lake Victoria, Ruaha National Park -TZ, Selous National Park -TZ and many other off the beaten track destinations..

Geoffrey’s Travels handles safaris for groups of maximum 18 guests and also small private groups or families, the latter being increasingly popular. We also do specialized tours for Ornithologists, Professional photographers, Golfers and also for those whose interests include Astronomy.
