Day 1
Arrive on an early morning flight and drive to the Aberdare Country Club arriving in time for lunch. Rest of the day is spent at leisure enjoying the bird life present at the club. Dinner and overnight at the Club. ( L, D, B )
Day 2
Depart after breakfast and drive North to Samburu game reserve Arriving in time for lunch at Ashnil Samburu Camp and later, enjoy a late afternoon game drive. ( L, D )
Day 3
Full day spent in the reserve bird and wildlife watching. ( B, L, D, B Picnic box )
Day 4
Early breakfast and depart for L. Nakuru having a picnic box on the way. Enjoy a game drive on the way to Lake Nakuru Lodge. ( D, B )
Day 5
Full day game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6
Have breakfast and depart after an early game drive to Lake Bogoria arriving for lunch. Enjoy a game drive after lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 7
Take breakfast and drive to Kakamega Forest arriving for lunch at Rondo Retreat.
After lunch you can enjoy the afternoon bird watching in the forest. Later return for dinner.
Day 8
Day spent in the forest bird watching on the menu. (B,L,D,B,L).
Day 9
Depart after an early breakfast and drive to Maasai Mara arrive for lunch at Fig Tree camp.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive and return to the camp for dinner.
Day 10,11
Day spent in the reserve bird watching and game viewing with a picnic box lunch. ( B L D B)
Day 12
Depart after breakfast and drive to Nairobi for your chosen destination.
We at Geoffrey’s Travels prefer to design birding safaris based on the clients specific wishes coupled with expert advise from our bird experts. We have specific destinations that make for excellent ornithological experiences. These can include places like Kakamega Forest, L Baringo, L Bogoria, L Nakuru, Samburu, Meru and a host of many others. Safari Include:
Full board accommodation on safari,
Extra meals as specified in the itinerary,
All national park entrance fees,
Airport transfers,
Transportation in our 6-seater minibus or 6-Seater Landcruiser driven by our experienced Safari guides.
1 litre of bottle water per person per day while on road safari
All excursions as indicated in the itinerary.
Prices only apply if a safari takes place and is completed within the specified price periods. Specific prices will provided for any safaris or services that extend into next price period.
All quotes are subject to availability and change due to: airfare increases, hotel rate increases,
currency exchange fluctuations and any other unforeseen circumstances, without prior notice.

International air transportation
Visa fees (currently US$50 per passport holder for Kenya. Tanzania visa fee ranges from US$50 to US$200 depending on the nationality).
International departure tax of US$40 per person in Kenya and US$30 in Tanzania unless included in international air ticket
Incidental tips to hotel/lodge staff (budget approximately US$2 – US$4 per person per day),
Gratuity to tour driver/guide (Guideline US$5 per person per day but this is not mandatory. It depends with the quality of service delivery)
All items of a personal nature such as laundry and drinks.
