Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport and drive to Sweetwaters arriving after lunch.  Sweetwaters is famous for its brave fight against poaching of wildlife and its continued efforts at conservation. Sweetwaters is at the fore front in protection and rehabilitation of the increasingly endangered Rhino population. One of the best places to come close to Rhino in the world. All meals at the Camp.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Day spent at the conservancy with game drives to suite your wishes. A visit to the Chimpanzee rescue center is a part of the day’s activities. Also you will have a chance to enjoy a night game drive which is not permitted in Other Parks and Reserves; it offers visitors an opportunity to discover Ol Pejeta ‘after hours’. With a help of a filtered spot light, the drives can produce some unusual sightings of nocturnal animals such as, aardvark, white tailed mongoose, gorillas and occasionally the elusive leopard are sighted alert at night. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.

Day 3: Aberdare National Park

Depart after breakfast and drive to Central Highlands to the Ark and arriving for lunch at the Ark. The Ark is a famous Tree hotel that has a water hole at its base. The soil around the Ark is full of minerals that the animals come to lick and later enjoy the water. All rooms have a superb view down to the water hole. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha

After Breakfast, depart and drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After Breakfast, enjoy a 1hr boat ride on Lake Naivasha coming close to big groups of Hippo. Lake Naivasha is our highest fresh water lake in Kenya at 1900mts above sea level. After the boat ride, you will continue driving south towards Maasai Mara having your lunch box on the way. You will arrive at Mara Fig Tree Camp in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Day is spent in the Reserve; Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary with Game drives to suite your wishes. One can opt for a much recommended and very popular Hot Air balloon Safari experience that is followed by a full breakfast served on the open savannah accompanied by a bottle of Champagne at an extra cost of Usd450. 

You will hunt for big game to be shot only through your camera lenses. Always looking out for the elusive “Big Five” i.e. Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, and the extremely rare and shy Black rhino and Leopard. Mara is also home to over 350 species of birds.

It is also the home of the famed Masai people, a unique and popular tribe due to their long-preserved culture. Despite education, civilization and western cultural influences, the Maasai people have clung to their traditional way of life, making them a symbol of Kenyan culture. Optional visit at an extra cost to a Masai village reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. All meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 7: Nairobi

Depart after breakfast arriving in time for a visit to Karen Blixen Museum then drive to Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens for lunch. Later you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to your chosen destination.
