Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Friday, October 3, 2025

After completing border formalities at Namanga, you will meet your safari guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy an introductory game drive en route to your camp, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, embark on a full day of game viewing in Tarangire. Today's highlights include spotting large groups of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a spectacular variety of birds against a backdrop of giant baobab trees. Return to your camp in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game drives en route, searching for buffalo, lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, and wildebeest. Arrive at your camp in the heart of the Serengeti in the evening.

Day 4: Full Day in Central Serengeti National Park

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. Day 6: Cultural Experience – Karatu to Arusha

Climate

Tarangire/Serengeti: Warm to hot days and cool nights. Layers are essential for early morning game drives.

Rainfall: The long dry season (June-Oct) is ideal. The “short rains” (Nov-Dec) and “long rains” (Mar-May) are less crowded but can make roads muddy.
