Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your guide, and proceed to the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, acclimatizing, and enjoying the resort facilities. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing in Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is a fantastic family destination, offering chances to see both black and white rhinos, herds of buffalo, flocks of flamingos, and the rare Rothschild's giraffe. Return to Lake Naivasha Sopa in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, enjoy a thrilling 1-hour boat trip on Lake Naivasha, getting up close to hippos and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a walk along the lake shore before returning to the lodge for lunch. The afternoon is free for swimming and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving at Oltukai Lodge in time for lunch. After a short rest, embark on an afternoon game drive with the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a full day in Amboseli with an early morning and a late afternoon game drive. The open plains make it easy for children to spot elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and more against the unforgettable scenery of Africa's highest mountain. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli – Diani Beach

Enjoy one last early morning game drive before breakfast. Afterwards, drive to Emali to catch the train to Mombasa (approx. 4.5 hrs). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beach hotel in Diani to begin your relaxing beach holiday.

Climate

Generally drier and hotter than the Rift Valley, but with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dust can be prevalent on the roads.

Diani Beach (Coast):
