This 5-day luxury gorilla trekking tour offers two unforgettable encounters with mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda, with seamless domestic flights and premium accommodation.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, our friendly guide will be there to welcome you and drive you to your hotel.
After an early morning breakfast, you shall proceed for your scheduled morning flight at 07:00am to Kihihi Airstrip where you will meet your guide and then transfer to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. On arrival, you may choose to go for a forest walk to the falls, or visit the Ride for woman project. Otherwise spend the day at leisure. You shall go to bed earlier this evening, since you should be fit for gorilla trekking the next day.

This morning you will get up early to prepare for the upcoming gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. In the afternoon you may take a Village or Forest walk in Bwindi National Park.

Today you will get up early and once again go for a second trekking of the gentle giants. A thrilling trek through the Impenetrable Forest led by an experienced ranger Guide provides inspiring views in all directions. You will trek a different family and get to spend time watching the adults feeding their young ones, brushing and resting as the youngsters play from vines in a pleasurably playful display.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of SouthWestern Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Upon reaching Entebbe, you will connect to your return flight home.
